Art as therapy can help patients relax, combat depression and exercise their brain and fine-motor skills.  

 The Farmington Valley Arts Center (FVAC) is over 40 years old and located in a lovely rural setting in Avon, CT.  It leases studio space to area artists, offers classes for children and adults and has a gift store and a gallery for exhibits.  FVAC is a 501 (c3) not for profit organization. ​
